This was requested by someone privately but I'm going to release it since others might possibly like it too. I struggled with including this into MH2 and ultimately left it out since I think it's probably a very limited use mod.

CreatureFactoryAdjuster is a mod that loads on the start of a map and runs through all the creature factories. Now for a bit of information addressing the non-mappers: Creature Factories (CF for short) are actors in a map that spawn many copies of a particular monster. Think "spam maps" for this one. Well some of those damn things have the count set to 100,000 <cough ATAA cough> while others are set to "-1" which means they never end :roll: CreatureFactoryAdjuster runs through them all and manually resets them to a limit defined by the admin.

If the CF has less, it keeps that amount. If it is set for more than the admin's choice, it is adjusted.

Lastly the ini also has a setting:
ChangeCovertToFalse=True
"Covert" means that monsters will not spawn if you are looking at the spawnpoint. N00b mappers often miss this setting and you end up with monsters that spawn ever so slowly when you look away. MH-Winter is a good example of this. You know when you go down into the toilet and the slith are below the waterfall, they take FOREVER to respawn if you are there. Well, it's this setting thats wrong there. As long as someone is looking down into the pool they will not spawn. Try it sometime and you'll see what I mean. Almost always the "Covert" setting should be False and most every time it's set to True there are problems. This setting will force it to be correct.

A word of caution: This mod could potentially make maps unable to finish. If the CF is tied to a "counter" and the counter is set to trigger the next event, it won't happen. A quick glance through my maps folder didn't find any that would be a problem but it could exist. Let me know if you find any and I might code a map exclusion list for the mod.

Run this as a mutator in mapvote (or whatever) and add the line:
ServerPackages=CreatureFactoryAdjuster
and put the ini into the system folder too. Be sure to adjust the bCapacity setting to what you think the max should be. 50 is very low for a spam server. 500 is probably better if you have a few players, lower if number of players is low.

Thank you guys for reading, and good luck :D

And as always....
