The official Quake3Stuff map
This is the winning map in the Quake3Stuff.com competition to create a map that we could use for future gaming competitions. The competition was run in association with NVidia, and this winning map received an NVidia GeForce2 GTS graphics card as the main prize. The author was Senn who we believe to have produced the best map in terms of playability, construction and originality. This map is the official Quake3Stuff map, so please notify me (along with the author) if you wish to run this map on a server or to reproduce it in any other way, including coverdisks, websites etc., because we would really like to keep track of this map. Thank you for downloading the map and hopefully you will enjoy it as much as we did. Please check our website for details on our game server(s), where you can play this map. I'd like to thank all the mappers who entered our competition, demonstrating the high quality of map work out there and providing us with some of the best maps ever seen, many of which we will be making available to the public. I'd like to thank Paul Jaquays from ID Software for his advice in the early stages of the competition regarding phrasing of rules (I'll be careful in future Paul!) and I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank our sponsors NVidia for the excellent prizes they provided for this competition. It was a blast! Happy fragging :) |
