	                    	                            ~Description~
The DSPCC is the latest in  heavy infantry weapon technology.  Owing to recent breakthroughs in particle dynamics we are now  able to offer  the common infantryman the kind of firepower he needs to get the job done.

				     ~Technical Overview~
The DSPCC is built around  a heavily modified XMC-12 NeuroTactical interface system and a high yield Particle Collapser Core.  This technology delivers an  unsurpassed power output to mass ratio, offering near limitless energy generation.  Due to the Core's fragility, it it suspended in an electromagnetic suspensor.  Should the suspensor fail, the Core's integrity collapses and the Core is dissapated harmlessly.  Replacement Cores can only be installed through a delicate and energy intensive process at one of our service centers.  Energy output is modulated through various subsystems housed within the unit.  the following is a brief description of all currently supported modes.

Subsystem 1: Compression Cannon
Drawing a relatively small amount of energy from the core, a high potentiality factor pulse is emitted  from the EL6 concentrator located at the front of the device.    Through the pulse has limited effect on inorganic materials, its effect on living matter is devastating.  The charge begins to disrupt the life process of the victim, causing its cells to implode at a staggering rate.  An interesting side effect is the discharge of bioelectricity as the target collapses.  
Reccomended use: Long distance applications where a high degree of accuracy is required.

Subsystem 2:  Tzin-ti-kai Singularity Generator
Following the recent discoveries on planet Tzin-ti-kai of the Charybdis system, Excalibur Ballistics has been able to bring unprecedented power to the field.  The singularity generator, after a buildup period,  releases a high density Semicle Mass, a cohesive conglomeration of incomplete Quark particles.  When the mass encounters dense matter the isolation field around it is released and the Semicles react, creating various energy phenemenon.  Note that  reacting semicles have a strong attraction to bioelectric fields.  If operating in a team make sure your task force is equipped with field modulators to prevent semicle attacks.
Also note that the reaction process is slow, and that rapid motion will result in lost energy.

subsystem 3: Tractor Grapple
An Excalibur golden oldie that never ceases its usefulness.  the tractor grapple now comes built into the DSPCC.
the main trigger launches and releases the tractor.  It can be used to either reach out and grab objects or if anchored to a solid structure can be used to pull and push yourself around using the utility buttons located on the left side.
(Note: you have to set up aliases to buttons bextra0 and bextra1 for the grapple to work. to set these aliases go to advanced options in your unreal options menu and expand advanced>key aliases.  find an open alias and click the + to open it up for editing.  name the first alias Extra0 and make the alias "button bextra0 | Extra0'.  do the same with another alias for bextra1.  then you can bind a key to the extra0 and extra1 functions to use the grapple. Its worth it trust me)

Subsystem 4: MASC
The revolutionary MonoAccelerated Shield Console system is here!  This system generates a contiguos layer of energy around the weapon and its owner.  The shield completely renews its ernergy matrix every 1/1000000 of a second, making it nearly indesctructible while there is an energy reserve to draw upon.  This technology has been used for years  on solar research vessels, but only we have been able to bring it to you, the soldier!.   Note that while the system is active the weapon cannot fire, and the rebreather system included in the neural interface jack has a duration of 2 hours.

Subsystem 5: Hunter/Seeker
After careful analysys of the peculiar behavior of Semicles when affected by bioelectric fields,   our R&D department managed to isolate the effect and integrate it into its own function.  If the onboard tracking system has an accquired  target, the weapon releases a semicle mass  polarized to that target's energy signature.  (This system was used with devastating effect in the recent much publicized college riots on epsilon 6.) If activated with no target lock, a slow moving mass is released that will attack the first living entity other than the originating DSPCC's operator that  comes near it.

Subsystem 6: Blade Flood
When a situation calls for rapid light bombardment the Blade Flood subsystem ( developed by Shinoku Heavy Industries) is ideal.  This system projects a wide dispersion of energized cutting devices in front of the operator.

Following our ancient company tradition of empowering the common soldier, we have included the latest revision of the XMC-12 NeuroTactical interface system.  By transmitting data through the nervous system of the operator he XMC system is able to deliver detailed operational information to the operator with the lightning speed a soldier needs on the battlefield.  Such innovations as the TrueStrike targeting reticle, which realigns itself to display the exact location your weapon will impact, and the advanced sensor package make the XMC a critical part of the modern soldier's weaponry.  Currently the system can interface with these species: Human and human derivites up to .36 mutation deviance, Nali, and Skaarj.  Krall interface-capable systems are currently in development.
