Bazooka Tag 1.0b1 - by David Catmull - uncommon@uncommonplace.com - http://www.uncommonplace.com/

The idea in this game is quite simple: at the beginning of the game, whoever dies first becomes It. Whomever It kills next becomes It, and so on. Optionally, if you kill yourself you automatically become It. The goal is to be It the least amount of time.. frags don't matter!

In the bottom left corner of the screen where the frag count usually is, you'll see a timer that shows how long you've been It. While you're It, the timer glows.

Setup:
------
Put the BazookaTag.u and BazookaTag.int files in Unreal Tournament's System directory. Then when you go to start a game, select Bazooka Tag from the game types list. Bazooka Tag plays on all DeathMatch maps.

Game play notes:
----------------
- Since frags don't count, the only reason to shoot people that aren't It is to weaken them (or kill them so they lose their weapons) so that they can more easily be tagged. And there's even less of a reason to shoot other people in InstaGib.
- If you're playing with the Relics mutators from the Bonus Pack, you'll find the Relics of Vengeance and Redemption to be extremely valuable. Redemption prevents you from being tagged, and Vengeance almost guarantees you'll tag someone when you die!

Known problems (help me!):
--------------------------
- The game replication info isn't being replicated in net games, which results in It indicators being left behind and client games not knowing who is It.
- When you get tagged, it says "You were killed by ___" when it's supposed to say "tagged". When you tag someone, it correctly displays "You tagged ___", so I don't know why the other case doesn't work.
- When "Suicide Becomes It" is enabled, you see a double message when someone suicides: "Bob tagged himself" and "Bob killed his own dumb self". Getting rid of the standard suicide message looks tricky...

Scoring issues:
---------------
- The game tries to keep mutators from messing with players' scores, because in this game the goal is to have the least points, so any mutator that tries to give you a bonus would actually be doing the opposite. If you think that this interferes with any specific mutators or there's a better way to do it, let me know.
- I managed to override the banners in Morpheus to correctly identify the leader (and display the score as time instead of points), and it should work in any map that uses the same text in its banners. Let me know if there are any maps in which this doesn't work.

Origin:
-------
This mod comes from the game type of the same name in Bungie's classic Marathon 2. There are no bazookas in that game either, but I decided to keep the name as a tribute to the original and to distinguish this from other similar "tag" mods.
